Sunday 7th May at Harpenden Common saw the Herts Golf Union holding the Men’s County Championship Qualifier sponsored by the society. Thankfully, after a very wet Saturday, Sunday gave way to sunshine, blue sky’s and excellent weather for playing golf. A field of 72 entered with the top 16 gaining a place in the Championship. Several players ended their round on +1 a total gross of 71 but congratulations go to the winner on the day, Noah Peters from West Herts who had a level par round of 70.
